Earlier, I was sitting in bed watching TV as Alex lay asleep next to me. Here is (one of) tonight's conversations:
Alex: "I'm sorry."
Amy: "Sorry for what?"
Alex: "For looking away."
Amy: "For looking away from what?"
Alex: "The show."
Amy: "What show?"
Alex: "The Cubbies show."
No one will ever have to question Alex's loyalty to the Chicago Cubs. :-)
