Quit Playing Tricks on Me

The other night I was in our living room talking with my brother on Skype, when I heard a huge crash coming from the bedroom. A few seconds later Alex walked out, looking quite disoriented.

I put my brother on hold to ask what was wrong. Alex responded with "Why do you keep playing tricks on me?"

"What tricks?" I asked.

Alex: "You keep texting me, why are you doing that?"

Amy: "Honey, I'm not texting you. I'm on the phone with my brother."

Alex: "Well fine, but please stop playing tricks on me."

Amy: "I'm not, your sleep walking/talking right now and you don't realize it."

Alex then gave me a disapproving look, and then went back into our bedroom and fell asleep.

The funny thing about this is that Alex doesn't even have texting capabilities on his cell phone. In fact, I don't think he's ever sent/received a text message in his life.

And even more disturbingly, I have no idea what that crash was! There was no evidence of any thing falling or breaking in our bedroom.

Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that pretty little head of his . . . :-)
